Women’s Ministries - an active group of women meeting together for:

Bible studies -  using curriculum by Beth Moore, (“Living Beyond Yourself” begins the last week of August) Ann Graham Lotz, Women of Faith, and others

Retreats - times of inspiration and insight with an emphasis on seeking an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ

Conferences - Women of Faith, Living Proof, Missions and others

Trips - times of getting acquainted, establishing friendships, having fun together
 

Music - a variety of musical styles and talents blend together in expression through:

Weekly praise band - guitars, drums,  keyboard, and piano all working together to worship
Adult choir (Spring & Fall) - rehearsals and performance of cantatas, musicals, and other musical  programs, led by Richard Stiltner.

Children’s choir - a ministry to elementary age children using music to teach God’s truth, involves rehearsals and performance of musical programs

AWANA (September - April) - a fun-filled, activity-based ministry geared toward children to help them learn the great truths and promises of God’s Word.
           The weekly Bible club meets Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

           Play Days & other special activities

Senior Adult Ministries (over 55) - An active group of persons in the church who enjoy spending time together and meeting new people through: 

Monthly outings - An activity for each month is planned for fellowship and entertainment

Trips - These range in length from part of a day up to a week; these trips promote good times of fellowship and friendship.

Discipleship Ministry - “The Truth Project” Class for Adults, Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm / June 21 - Sept. 13, produced by Focus on the Family ©.  Learn to have a Biblical World View through this study. Sign-up in the narthex. Attendance is important because each session builds on the one before. Opportunities for make-up sessions will be made available.   Additional classes available for all age groups.

Prayer Ministry - We believe in praying continually (1 Thessalonians 4:17) to our  Heavenly Father who hears those prayers. A list of prayer needs is published weekly. Wednesday evening “Prayer & Share” at 6:30 pm. (Will begin again in the fall)

Mission Friends (ages 3 - 5) - Meet in the Spring and Fall at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings to learn about missionaries, to pray for and  support them, and do ministry projects 

Recreation - informal activities and league teams in various sports: Volleyball, softball,  basketball.  A great way to meet people and enjoy exercise together.  Noisy fans welcome.

“Crosswalk” Youth Group - A growing,   enthusiastic group of students. Jeff Perek is   leading youth in spiritual growth, currently studying “Experiencing God” Youth edition, as well as a having lot of fun.  Our Youth Ministry has a Wednesday nighttime of fun and Bible Study. (Grades 7 - 12)

Missions - Cooperating with other Southern Baptist churches to give support physically, prayerfully, and financially to over 10,000       missionaries around the world through             opportunities to serve, learn of needs, and give. Although the church in general encourages     and is involved in missions, particular groups meet to focus on those opportunities:.

Acteens (girls, grades 7 - 12) - Teen Girls Who Make a Difference meet once a month on Sunday afternoon to learn about, pray for, support, and do missions and ministry projects:

Singer Mental Health Center - An ongoing ministry to the residents through crafts, Bible study, parties, gifts, and Christmas caroling

Rockford Rescue Mission - An ongoing ministry of financial support and holding an annual worship service
